Vegetable Oil at the service of women! It is ideal for maintaining the health and beauty of the skin (flexibility and elasticity) thanks to its unsaturated fatty acids. It helps regulate the production of hormones such as estrogen or progesterone. This Vegetable Oil is in fact recognized for its estrogen-like action, in the sense that it provides the same effects as natural estrogens without having the side effects. The symptoms of difficult or irregular periods are therefore greatly reduced in the majority of cases.
In addition, many pre-menopausal women testify to its effectiveness on hot flashes thanks to the anti-inflammatory action of fatty acid (GLA) associated with the estrogen-like effect. Finally, during a hormonal imbalance, it is possible to regularize the cycle thanks to a treatment of evening primrose whatever the age and also in the form of capsules .

Use of Essential Oils during pregnancy and postpartum
Aromatherapy has grown in popularity in recent years, including among pregnant and postpartum women.
Adrianna Czaban 's thesis for obtaining the state diploma in midwifery, defended in 2018 at the Catholic University of Lille, includes a bibliographical study on aromatherapy during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Here are the main results of his review:
- Precautions for use and contraindications during pregnancy: essential oils are composed of fat-soluble molecules which can cross the placental barrier. Their use requires specific knowledge, especially during pregnancy. The first three months, they are generally contraindicated.
- Use during pregnancy: Several studies have shown the effectiveness of essential oils for treating various pregnancy ailments, such as nausea, pruritus, stress, anxiety, and hypertension. For example, lemon essential oil is effective against nausea and vomiting, while peppermint essential oil is used to treat itching.
- Use during childbirth: certain essential oils, such as clary sage, are used during the third trimester of pregnancy for their emmenagogue effects. Inhalation of salvia sclarea has even been shown to increase oxytocin, although with no effect on uterine contractions.
- Postpartum use: Inhaling lavender essential oils is associated with reduced anxiety, without the side effects associated with benzodiazepines.
