Soothing caress!

The softest of vegetable oils, with anti-inflammatory, antiallergic and antipruritic properties. It is especially the unsaponifiables and phytosterols contained in this lipid extract that make it a calming oil.

Calendula is a very good friend for babies and sensitive skin, to soothe the fire, or calm itchy skin. An easy-to-use and safe oil, which acts on its own or, for adult ailments, in synergy with a low dose of essential oils acting in the same direction (asp lavender, cistus ladanifera, noble or German chamomile ...).

How to use

Apply to the skin and massage until completely absorbed.

Tips & Tricks:
Aftershave: On the shaved and dried skin, massage 4 drops of the mixture VO jojoba 10ml + VO calendula 20ml.

Which oil should I use for an itchy scalp?

We recommend Calendula Vegetable Oil. You can also use Chamomile Hydrosol, which will help soothe the scalp.

Can I use it on my face without it causing breakouts?

It all depends on the base oil used for the maceration. The vegetable oil used in Pranarôm's product is Sunflower Vegetable Oil: its comedogenic rating is very low, so there is little risk.

Does it have any contraindications?

Caution for people allergic to the Asteraceae family (such as daisies, dandelions, or arnica): in case of allergy, we advise you to consult a healthcare professional.

Does it expire quickly?

As it is a macerate, it is prone to rancidity. If the smell turns sour, discontinue use.

Can it replace sunscreen?

No. While it naturally contains beta-carotene and antioxidants that can help prepare and enhance skin for sun exposure, it does not offer sufficient protection against UVA and UVB rays.
