History of the Noble Laurel

The Noble Laurel is native to the Mediterranean region. It grows well in warm, humid climates, typical of these regions. This slow-growing tree can reach up to 12 meters in height. Its leaves are dark green and shiny, with a strong aromatic odor when crushed. The tree produces yellow flowers and black berries.
Much better known in Antiquity where it crowned the heads of victors, Laurel produces a remarkable essential oil still too little used in aromatherapy.
