Clean up my living space
Did you know that most people spend 80-90% of their time inside enclosed spaces (home, work, school, etc.)? This explains the impact of indoor contamination on our health, especially as winter approaches. Want to find out more?
Sanitize and purify the interior, for what purpose?
Warnings about indoor air contamination are multiplying and diversifying. We are always concerned about outdoor air pollution, which is steadily increasing with industrial, commercial and urban activity...! This air pollution has a direct impact on the quality of the air inside our homes. However, in addition to chemical contamination, there are naturally "microbes" in the air, carried by "drops" of water. These micro-organisms are a real threat to the quality of our indoor air, and can have harmful effects on our health. These micro-organisms can include molds, bacteria, dust mites, allergens, pollens and more.For most people, the majority of their time is spent indoors. This explains the impact of indoor pollution on health, with an even greater impact in winter. During this cold period, household activities, particularly cooking, increase, indoor temperatures rise and windows remain closed, leading to a reduction in ventilation and an accumulation of mainly biological indoor pollutants. The inhalation of biological contaminants in the air can generate acute, sub-acute or toxic respiratory infections, or promote or aggravate allergic pathologies.
Thanks to numerous studies, we can prove the impact of microbiological pollution of indoor air on our health. An intelligent fight against this pollution must be organized, and innovative air purification programs must be implemented to avoid endangering indoor air quality.Thanks to their unquestionable anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-parasitic properties, essential oils (EO) are becoming essential solutions for cleaning up the environment. The volatile chemical composition and "good-smelling" character of essential oils make them the products of choice for air treatment and purification.
The distribution of Essential Oils for the whole family
The number 1 anti-viral Essential Oil in aromatherapy is undoubtedly Ravintsara Essential Oil also known for its immunostimulating and antibacterial properties. Other Essential Oils with oxides can be used for a similar effect but which will be a little less powerful (for example: Eucalyptus radiata, mandravasarotra, Myrtle with cineole, Rosemary with cineole, Noble laurel, etc.).
Ravintsara, if used in diffusion, will bring a note of freshness and purify the air , which is very useful. You can diffuse Ravintsara Essential Oil for 10 to 20 minutes, 3 times a day (8-10 drops of Essential Oil each diffusion). To sanitize the air and enjoy a pleasant smell, our laboratory has developed several synergies based on different Essential Oils:
Strength and Vitality : Maritime Pine, Globular Eucalyptus, Menthol Eucalyptus, Spearmint, Sweet Orange, Ravintsara, Mandravasarotra.
Eucaly'pur : Atlas cedar, Menthol Eucalyptus, Eucalyptus smithii, Globular Eucalyptus, Scots pine, Field mint, Peppermint, Shelled marjoram, Vetiver
For toddlers, diffusing Essential Oils is also a good way to strengthen immunity. For this, the Pranarôm laboratory has developed suitable diffusion synergies, such as “Pranabb sanitizing diffusion ” designed with Ravintsara Rosewood and Niaouli essential oils. From 3 months, you can add 3 drops to a diffuser for 1 hour, in alternating mode. However, be careful not to broadcast while your baby is sleeping in the room.
You don't have a diffuser at home and you want to create a synergy yourself to spray based on several essential oils? Why not combine these 3 essential oils known to stimulate the immune system? Combine:
200 drops of Lemon essence;
300 drops of Ravintsara Essential Oil;
80 drops of true lavender essential oil
All in a large 30 ml spray bottle.
To spray once/day in your environment.
Sanitizing sprays
If you prefer ready-made, effective and natural solutions to clean your interior, the Pranarôm laboratory has developed innovative solutions to have a microbiological air sanitation effect and reconcile indoor air quality requirements with a deodorizing effect. and a pleasant, fresh scent.
Such a product, composed of pure, natural and certified organic essential oils with proven cleansing power, is very complex to develop. And for good reason, the technology of the sprays selected by Pranarôm requires that the particles remain suspended in the atmosphere for targeted and lasting effectiveness.
Two sprays – two worlds
Initially, our Pranarôm laboratory developed Organic Sanitizing Spray which is a clever blend of Sweet Orange and Ravintsara essential oils. The union of these essential oils brings freshness to your interior. This spray guarantees healthier air thanks to its composition of essential oils rigorously selected for their antiviral, antibacterial and antiseptic properties.
High-level studies carried out by independent laboratories demonstrate the lethal effect of this Organic Sanitizing Spray - with Sweet Orange & Ravintsara essential oils on many pathogenic germs. Such diffusion contributes to improving occupant comfort by improving the perception of ambient air, preventing unwanted microbial contamination, and microbiological sanitation of indoor air.
The latest addition to the Pranarôm laboratory is the Sanitizing spray with Essential Oils of Ravintsara and Tea-tree (+ Eucalyptus). This spray with cineole and therefore green and fresh notes has been specially designed to fight viruses and bacteria. Tests carried out in independent laboratories have demonstrated an effective formula for eliminating viruses (5 min. Adenovirus, Poliovirus, Murine norovirus, Influenza A virus H1N1) and bacteria (5 min. Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus hirae, Escherichia coli) .
Have your minute disinfectant within reach
A healthy environment is essential but it is not enough to boost your immunity. Did you know that washing your hands can reduce infections by half? In fact, we carry millions of microbes on our hands, most of them harmless but a few can be dangerous. Hygiene and hand washing is therefore essential to human health and we heard about it throughout 2020 with Covid-19.
To clean your hands, it is recommended to add an Essential Oil to your favorite foaming cleansing gel. The essential oils of: Tea-tree, Genaranium or even Lemon are the most relevant for the whole family because of their beautiful antiviral and anti-infectious properties.
When you go shopping or leave your sports class, it is not always easy to wash your hands with soap and water as recommended, so why not opt for a minute hand sanitizer based on essential oils when you are outdoors?
