The benefits of peppermint, ravintsara and lemon eucalyptus
As part of the natural treatment of itching, three essential oils stand out for their soothing and healing properties: peppermint, ravintsara and lemon eucalyptus. A scientific study from the University of Grenoble Alpes made it possible to highlight them:
- Peppermint: Peppermint offers antiviral and anti-infectious properties. In addition, it contains menthol, which soothes and calms itching.
- Ravintsara: native to Madagascar, ravintsara is renowned for its powerful antiviral properties. It helps strengthen the immune system. It is particularly effective in treating viral infections such as chickenpox.
- Lemon eucalyptus: this essential oil is appreciated for its anti-inflammatory properties. It helps reduce swelling and irritation around chickenpox spots, thus soothing the itching.
By combining these three essential oils, we create a synergy that specifically targets uncomfortable symptoms. Using them together in an anti-itch lotion offers a natural and effective solution to soothe irritated skin and contribute to faster healing. The choice of these oils is not a coincidence, but the result of a deep understanding of their unique properties and their ability to work together for the well-being of the skin.
